Skin can be assessed very well remotely

Many of the most common skin problems are diagnosed by looking: the type of lesion, where it is and how it has evolved. That is why a good questionnaire and a sharp photo allow the doctor to assess your case accurately, without waiting weeks for an appointment.

Each treatment in this section has its own questionnaire, designed by doctors to gather exactly what is needed: your symptoms, what you have already tried and the health details that determine which options are safe for you.

What makes a skin consultation different

Besides answering the questionnaire, you attach one or two photos of the area, which only the medical team will see; if more are needed, you can send them by message from your consultation.
The doctor replies with their assessment and, if your case can be treated remotely, clear instructions: what to apply, how to start and what to expect.
Skin changes slowly: tell the doctor how things are going by message so the treatment can be adjusted when needed.

Tips for a good photo

Use natural light, no flash, no make-up and no filters.
Take a close, well-focused photo of the area; each questionnaire tells you whether it is worth adding another.
Your photos are stored encrypted and only the medical team sees them.

And if your case needs an in-person examination

Not everything can be resolved remotely: a changing mole, a lesion that bleeds or a picture that does not add up need to be examined in person. If that is your case, the doctor will tell you clearly and without wasting your time.
