1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage, service workers) serve similar purposes. This policy explains which ones we use, in accordance with Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE and the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s Guide on the use of cookies.

2. Our approach

  • Without your permission we only use the technical cookies and technologies strictly necessary for the website to work.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies, including those of Google (Analytics and, where applicable, Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), are off by default and are only loaded if you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. That single consent covers analytics, conversion measurement, personalised advertising and remarketing.
  • The notice shows “Accept” and “Reject” at the same level: rejecting is as easy as accepting. If you reject or make no choice, only technical technologies work.
  • If you accept, these tools may load on every page of the site, including the consultation questionnaire and the purchase process.

3. Cookies and technologies we use

3.1. Technical cookies (always on, exempt from consent)

  • ddrsid — Owner: First party — Purpose: Keep you logged in and protect forms against fraud — Duration: Session
  • ddr_lang — Owner: First party — Purpose: Remember the language you have chosen — Duration: 1 year

3.2. Browser storage and other technical technologies

  • ddr_cookie_consent — Type: Local storage — Purpose: Remember whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so we do not ask you on every page — Retention: Until you change your choice or clear the site data
  • ddr-quiz:‹treatment› — Type: Local storage — Purpose: Save a draft of your questionnaire answers (never photographs) so you can pick up where you left off. It contains health data and is stored only on your device — Retention: Deleted when you submit the consultation, when you log out or after a period without changes (2 hours by default; never more than 48 hours)
  • ddr-quiz-hidden — Type: Session storage — Purpose: Remember that you have hidden the pending-questionnaire reminder in this tab — Retention: Until you close the tab
  • ddr_push:‹area› — Type: Local storage — Purpose: Link your account to the device on which you enabled push notifications. Only used if you enable notifications — Retention: Until you disable notifications or clear the site data
  • Service worker — Type: Browser script — Purpose: Show an offline screen and receive push notifications — Retention: Until you clear the site data

Sections 3.3 and 3.4 form a single category, analytics and advertising, which includes Google’s and Meta’s advertising and measurement cookies and is activated with a single consent when you click “Accept”.

3.3. Analytics and advertising: Google (only with your consent)

  • _ga — Owner: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) — Purpose: Distinguish browsers anonymously to measure visits and use of the site — Duration: 2 years
  • _ga_CX494YW04X — Owner: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) — Purpose: Keep the state of the measurement session — Duration: 2 years

3.4. Analytics and advertising: Meta, Facebook and Instagram (only with your consent)

  • _fbp — Owner: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta pixel) — Purpose: Identify the browser to measure visits and purchases coming from Meta ads and to show you DuDoctor ads on Facebook and Instagram (remarketing) — Duration: 3 months
  • _fbc — Owner: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta pixel) — Purpose: Store the click identifier when you arrive from a Meta ad, to attribute the conversion to that ad — Duration: 3 months

These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager, which does not set cookies of its own. If we activate Google Ads, its cookies (for example, _gcl_au) will be added to this list before they are used and will be covered by the same consent. We do not send Meta or Google any health data, questionnaire answers, diagnoses or prescriptions. Purposes, each provider’s role and international transfers: section 7 of the Privacy policy. 4. How to manage your preferences

  • Cookie notice: on your first visit you can choose “Accept” or “Reject”.
  • Changing your mind: you can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie preferences link in the footer, which shows the notice again. If you withdraw it, analytics and measurement tools stop loading on subsequent pages; you can delete cookies already set from your browser.
  • Your browser: you can also block or delete cookies and site data in the settings of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. If you block technical cookies, you will not be able to log in.

We will ask for your consent again at least every 24 months or when the cookies used change.
