1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the purchase of the online medical consultations offered at https://dudoctor.com by the Provider identified at the top of this page. Before paying you will be asked to accept them expressly, together with the Informed consent for online consultation. We recommend that you read them carefully and keep a copy.
2. Description of the service
- You choose the reason for your consultation and answer a clinical questionnaire that takes about five minutes.
- A registered doctor personally reviews your answers, photographs and documents and replies in writing in your patient area with an assessment and, if your case is suitable, a treatment plan.
- You can keep writing to the medical team from your consultation thread during the period you have paid for.
- There is no video call or physical examination. The doctor may conclude that your case cannot be handled remotely and refer you to your GP, a specialist or an emergency department.
DuDoctor does not handle emergencies. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, bleeding, loss of consciousness or any other serious symptom, call 112.
3. Requirements for purchasing
- Be over 18 and have full legal capacity to enter into contracts.
- Consult about your own health, not that of third parties.
- Provide truthful and complete information, including an identity document, which is required for the medical record and, where applicable, to issue a prescription.
Hiding or falsifying clinical information may put your health at risk and releases the Provider and the doctor from liability arising from that information.
4. Services and prices
Prices are shown in euros and are final prices: the amount you see is the amount you pay. The price covers the medical assessment and written follow-up; it does not include the cost of medicines, which are bought separately at a pharmacy.

5. Purchase process
In accordance with Article 27 of the LSSI-CE, we inform you of the following:
- Steps: (1) choose the service; (2) answer the questionnaire; (3) create your account or log in; (4) choose the payment plan at the end of the questionnaire; (5) review the summary showing the service, price and billing frequency; (6) accept these terms and the informed consent; (7) click the payment button and complete payment. The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed.
- Correcting errors: before paying you can go back and change your answers and the chosen plan. Once the consultation has been submitted, you can send corrections to the doctor through your consultation thread.
- Filing and access: the Provider keeps the electronic contract document. You will receive an email confirmation with the service, the price and a link to these terms, and your invoices will be available in the “Invoices” section of your patient area.
- Languages: you can purchase in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, Italian, German or Dutch. In the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Spanish version prevails.
- Codes of conduct: the service is provided in accordance with the Code of Medical Ethics of the Spanish Medical Association.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe, an authorised payment service provider. You enter your card details directly in Stripe’s secure environment: DuDoctor neither sees nor stores them. For subscriptions you authorise a recurring charge each period until you cancel. If a charge fails, we may retry it and, if the problem is not resolved, suspend the subscription.
7. Subscriptions: renewal and cancellation
- Subscriptions have no minimum term and renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or quarterly) for the same amount.
- You can cancel at any time from the “Invoices” section of your patient area or by writing to hello@dudoctor.com. Cancelling is as easy as subscribing.
- Cancelling prevents the next charge. You keep access to follow-up until the end of the period already paid.
Refund conditions are set out on the Refunds and cancellation page.
8. Right of withdrawal
Under Article 93 of the Spanish Consolidated Consumer Protection Act (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to healthcare services, so the medical consultation is not subject to that right. This does not affect the refund due when the service is not provided, as described on the Refunds and cancellation page, or your other consumer rights.
9. Prescriptions and medicines
Submitting a consultation does not guarantee that any medicine will be prescribed. If the doctor considers it appropriate, they will issue a medical prescription in accordance with Royal Decree 1718/2010 on medical prescriptions and dispensing orders, which you can take to the pharmacy of your choice. DuDoctor does not sell or distribute medicines. Always follow the doctor’s instructions and the package leaflet, and report any side effects.
10. Patient obligations
- Answer truthfully and report changes in your health, allergies or medication.
- Read the doctor’s replies and raise any questions before starting a treatment.
- Not share your account or use the service on behalf of another person.
- Treat the medical team with respect. The Provider may terminate the service in the event of abusive behaviour.
11. Liability
Doctors are responsible for their professional acts in accordance with lex artis and healthcare regulations, and hold the liability insurance or other financial guarantee required by Article 46 of Spanish Law 44/2003 on the regulation of health professions. The Provider is responsible for the proper operation of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited towards consumers.
12. Data protection
Your data, including health data, is processed as described in the Privacy policy.
13. Changes
The Provider may update these terms. Each purchase is governed by the terms in force at the time of payment. If a change affects an ongoing subscription, we will notify you reasonably in advance and you may cancel before it takes effect.
14. Complaints, governing law and jurisdiction
You can submit complaints through the channels shown on the Complaints page. These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
